Job Description
PURPOSE
To support the company’s Mission, Vision and Core Values in delivering quality services through supporting the hiring and retention of a qualified and talented workforce, creating and maintaining currency in all personnel files, and providing a resource to all employees for all personnel policies, procedures, and actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Specialize in assisting person supported with disabilities to learn and accurately carry out job duties.
- Identify person supported interest, skills and talents in order to facilitate a job of choice.
- Provide one-on-one training tailored to the needs of the person supported.
- Perform job analysis to identify job duties and develop a plan as to how to train the person supported to work in a self-sufficient manner.
- Provide monitoring, assessment and support to develop healthy working relationships.
- Encourage appropriate social interaction.
- Ability to represent the person supported as a valuable asset to the business.
- Tracks person supported progress towards goals and objectives.
- Breaks job duties and assignments into specific steps to facilitate person supported learning.
- Monitor individual’s level of performance including determining when support can be faded.
- Monitor quality of person supported work to ensure it adheres to industry standards and all tasks are completed within acceptable time frames.
- Serves as a liaison between employee and employer and facilitate appropriate worker to supervisor relationship.
- Maintain accurate records on job coaching services provided to each person supported Document and recommend to Supported Employment Supervisor any action necessary to overcome employment barriers.
- Maintains current First Aid and CPR certification as needed.
- Responds to crisis in accordance to policy and training
- Develops and maintains written documentation within 24 hrs for each individual served.
- Completes all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Documentation of job coaching support provided
Additional Responsibilities
- Must be able to lift or support approximately 50 lbs. either assisted or unassisted. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours. Must be able to stoop, bend, and reach overhead.
- Personal Assistance: Ability to assist person supported in activities of daily living as well as related job tasks.
- Challenging Behaviors: Ability / willingness to work with person supported during challenging behaviors.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, to write specific reports and correspondence, to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations, to solve complex problems, and to interpret written and verbal instructions is required.
- Job site locations: Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, Brighton, Denver, Aurora and Littleton.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The successful Job Coach is reliable, energetic, professional, flexible, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team and is a positive role model for Supported Employment’s clientele.
Qualifications include:
- Must be able to pass a background.
- Satisfactory oral and written communication, math, and computer skills.
- High school diploma or Bachelors Degree.
- A minimum of one year experience with adults who have disabilities, (or similar experience is strongly preferred).
- The ability to maintain First Aid and CPR certification. We will provide Safety Care and ACRE Training (Employment Specialist Certification).
- This position requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and a registered / insured vehicle.
- Ability to travel locally to meet with clients and employers.
- Flexibility in work hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Must maintain a punctual and good attendance record.
- Bilingual a plus (more pay).
- American Sign Language is a plus.

Open Position — Day Program Direct Support Staff

Job Description
PURPOSE
Wings PASA is a small business in Littleton, CO. We are looking for people who care about the growth of the individuals and we are looking for people who can think outside the box. You need to be up for a challenging job that can lead to career growth and flexibility. We need staff who will support individuals with disabilities in developing soft skills as they engage in meaningful community-based services, job planning, volunteer work, and creative programming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support clients as they engage in meaningful community-based services and creative therapeutic programming.
- Promote independence while adding creative structures to the daily lives of individuals through Community Based Programming.
- Provide quality attention and supervision to each individual within small groups.
- Transporting of individuals to and from the Day Program.
- Will report to the Day Program Director and be in charge of making sure documentation is kept up to date.
- Assist individuals in finding community integrated employment: training will be provided.
Additional Responsibilities
- Must be an advocate and a quick thinker who can provide positive direction to other team members.

- Employment is contingent upon the successful results of background check, and where applicable, additional state-specific regulatory requirements.

A Host Home Provider is a person, who may be part of a couple or family, who agrees to share their home with an adult with a disability. Anyone who is over the age of 18, in good general health and willing to be part of a team to help provide support can apply to be a Host Home Provider.
Wings, LLC is in the field of providing residential, supported employment services and support for people with disabilities in Denver Metro Area.
-Host Home Providers are independent contractors who receive a daily stipend, which in most cases is tax exempt, plus room and board.
-Each Host Home Arrangement is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of an individual, respecting their personality, capabilities and hopes for the future.
-Host Home Providers are carefully screened and selected. The Wings, LLC residential team provides support for each home.
-An extensive matching process facilitates finding a home and family that is a “just right” fit for each other.
-The person who joins you has their own room, is included in family activities and benefits from the host family’s connections to the community.
